I began coordinating intelligence operations for the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community. When technology exploded, I rolled with it by becoming a web developer. My husband and I then launched our own engineering firm, growing it from just the two of us to over 200 employees before selling it in 2010. Whew! Our goal was putting our three kids through college, so mission (thankfully) accomplished.
Running that business taught me the key to customer satisfaction: Communicate clearly. Listen attentively. Follow well-defined processes. Oh, and keep the coffee pot clean.
When we moved to South Carolina in 2013, I had a very frustrating experience as a homebuyer. I realized I could do better. During that process, I fell in love with real estate contracts, negotiations, legal details, staging - you name it! I set out to become the agent I wished I’d had.
Now, as a managing broker, I’ve closed 100s of transactions and over $100 million in sales. I poured my analytical skills and passion for people into a formula for real estate success. My clients appreciate an organized yet personal approach with clear communication every step of the way.
Away from work, I enjoy hiking, reading about the women of WWII, attempting new bread recipes (carrot cake is my specialty!), and hanging with my family and furry friends. I’m fueled by bold red wine and college football rivalries. Hey, I used to live in downtown Tuscaloosa!
